25-30 Minutes Duration
This e-learning module introduces trainees to the purpose and operating principles of positive displacement, reciprocating, diaphragm, rotary, and positive displacement pumps, and their auxiliary systems.
20-25 Minutes Duration
This e-learning module introduces trainees to the purpose, operating principles, components and design of shell-and-tube, pipe coil, double pipe, plate-and-frame, air cooled, and spiral heat exchangers. An overview of heat transfer, fluid flow and heat exchanger applications is also explained.
20-25 Minutes Duration
This e-learning module introduces trainees to the purpose and operating principles of batch, semi-batch, continuously stirred tank, and plug flow reactors.
20-25 Minutes Duration
This e-learning module introduces trainees to the purpose and operating principles of centrifugal, axial, reciprocating compressors, sliding compressors, lobe compressors, and their auxiliary systems. Trainees will be able to explain how each type of compressor works; applications; and describe the subsystems required for their operation.
55-60 Minutes Duration
This e-learning module introduces trainees to the definitions and principles of process variables (pressure, temperature, level, and flow) used in industrial applications. Trainees will understand the role of process variables in process control and learn how process variables are classified.
